Full Time Hobby have been supporting Tree Musketeers this year as one of a number of routes we’re taking towards the problem of the climate crisis. We realise real change has to happen at governmental level and with those fossil fuel companies making up the bulk of global emissions but there’s plenty everyone can do along the way to improve the environment locally and globally. We wanted to do something locally as part of our approach and so we’re supporting Tree Musketeers since they’ve been making a change to Hackney, where we’re based, for the last 20 years, planting and caring for new trees across the borough.
If you want to support Tree Musketeers too, we’re helping them sell their Tree calendar, so you can remember what day it is and contemplate something beautiful.
TREE MUSKETEERS
The Tree Musketeers are volunteers who plant and care for trees in Hackney and raise awareness of the benefits of trees to the quality of life. Most of the trees they plant are grown from seed or propagated at Hackney Community Tree Nursery on Hackney Marshes.
They have produced a calendar of Hackney's trees for 2021 all profits from the sale of the calendars will go to support the work of the Tree Musketeers.
